Welcome to SUGAR. SUGAR is a Web3 social matching platform that connects crypto users based on their on-chain portfolio activity. This Privacy Policy describes how information is collected, used, and protected when you use the application at sugar-app.xyz.

Wallet Address: When you connect a Solana wallet, we read your public wallet address. We never request or store your private keys or seed phrases.
On-chain Portfolio Data: We fetch publicly available token holdings and portfolio balances from the Solana blockchain to power matching and the KOL Leaderboard.
Profile Information: Display name, profile photo (optional), gender preference, and bio that you voluntarily provide.
Activity Data: Hearts sent/received, posts, comments, votes, and messages you create within the app.
Device & Usage Data: Browser type, operating system, and interaction logs for analytics and debugging.
3. How We Use Your Information
To match you with compatible crypto users based on portfolio overlap.
To display your profile and activity to other users on the platform.
To deliver in-app notifications and private messages.
To maintain and improve the SUGAR platform.
To detect and prevent fraud or abuse.
4. Information Sharing
SUGAR does not sell personal information. Data may be shared:
With other users, as intended (e.g., your public profile and posts).
With service providers (e.g., Supabase for database hosting) under confidentiality agreements.

Your data is stored in Supabase and in your browser's local storage. Reasonable security measures are implemented, but no system is 100% secure. Blockchain data (wallet addresses and transactions) is inherently public.

Disconnect your wallet at any time to stop new data collection.
Request deletion of your profile and associated data by contacting us.
Update your profile information within the app at any time.
7. Cookies & Local Storage
SUGAR uses browser local storage to persist your session, profile, and activity across visits. No third-party advertising cookies are used.

SUGAR is intended for users 18 years of age or older. Data from minors is not knowingly collected. If you believe a minor has provided data, please contact support immediately.

SUGAR uses Solana wallet authentication. You are responsible for the security of your wallet and any actions taken with it. SUGAR is not liable for unauthorized access due to wallet compromise.
You agree to provide accurate profile information and keep it up to date. You may not impersonate any person or entity.

You agree not to:
Post content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, harassing, or defamatory.
Spam other users or send unsolicited commercial messages.
Use SUGAR for fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal activities.
5. On-Chain Data
SUGAR reads public on-chain data from the Solana blockchain to generate portfolio insights and compatibility signals. This data is public by nature; SUGAR does not modify blockchain data.
6. Content Ownership
You retain ownership of content you post. By posting, you grant SUGAR a non-exclusive license to display your content within the App for matching and social purposes.
7. Termination
SUGAR reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, without notice.
8. Disclaimer
SUGAR is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee matches or outcomes.
9. Limitation of Liability
SUGAR is not liable for any damages resulting from use of the App, including loss of funds due to wallet compromise.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.
